BACC Partners and Participates In Kick-Off of World Trade Week NYC 2023

The Baltic American Chamber of Commerce (BACC) representatives Elliot Matz, Board Member and Inga Klimasauskiene attended the Kick-Off Event of World Trade Week NYC 2023 on Wednesday, May 10th at Baruch College in New York City.  Since part of BACC’s mission is to facilitate business exchange between the US and the Baltic States, it is important that BACC engages in, and promotes, such events.  BACC is a partner in, and a sponsor of, World Trade Week NYC 2023 (WTW).  

The event included a panel discussion, an awards ceremony, and a networking session. Representatives of business development entities from the New York metropolitan area were in attendance, including from the City of New York, from The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, from The World Trade Centers Association, from The New York District Export Council, and from many other participating sponsors and businesses.  There was an enlightening panel discussion about digitization of global supply chains, and a number of useful contacts were made for promoting trade between the US and the Baltic nations.
