BACC at World Trade Week NYC Trading Forum & Awards
On May 18th, 2023 the Baltic American Chamber of Commerce (BACC) representative Inga Klimasauskiene participated in a domestic and transnational economic partnerships forum & reception which was held at Manhattan’s magnificent Surrogate’s Courthouse. The event attracted countries from across the globe, including Israel, Turkey, Thailand, South Korea, Germany, Morocco, Azerbaijan, Canada, and more. Dignitaries, including TenaVel T. Thomas, Port Director, Port of New York/Newark, New York Field Office, U.S. Customs & Border Protection, Dilip Chauhan, Deputy Commissioner, NYC Mayor’s Office for International Affairs, an American actor Tony Danza were among the evening’s high-profile guests. The program for the evening included a panel of leading US government officials and organizations, and trusted trading partner awards ceremony.
This event was organized as part of World Trade Week (WTW). WTW NYC is an active network of more than 70 organizations in the New York metro region working together to underscore the importance of international trade, logistics and port operations to the region’s economy and to use their collective expertise to help the region’s businesses grow through international trade.
