Webinar on U.S. Tariffs and Their Impact on the EU - March 12, 2025

On March 12, 2025, the Baltic American Chamber of Commerce (BACC) organized a webinar as part of its specialized workshop series, designed to help members understand the U.S. business environment, assist American companies in navigating the European market, and meet the requirements necessary for success on both sides of the Atlantic. This event was part of BACC’s program, specifically tailored to the needs of its members, with particular focus on the Consulate General of Lithuania in New York.

During the session, experts from the U.S. law firm Dorsey & Whitney LLP, Mr. T. Augustine Lo and Mr. Dave Townsend, provided valuable insights on the current U.S. administration’s tariffs on goods, potential tariffs that could impact the EU, and reciprocal tariffs under consideration. They also discussed the expected effects of these tariffs on the European market, along with key business strategies and adaptive measures to navigate changes in international trade. Jonathan M. Herman at Dorsey & Whitney LLP, played a key role in bringing this event to fruition by organizing and inviting his colleagues to share their expertise.

The event was moderated by Dovydas Špokauskas, Consul General of the Republic of Lithuania in New York.

The webinar was extremely well attended, with over 150 participants joining the live session, and many more expressing interest in accessing the recording to benefit from the valuable insights shared during the event.

This event was made possible through the collaboration of all partners involved, including Dorsey & Whitney LLP, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania, and the Public Institution Innovation Agency of Lithuania.
