Webinar on U.S. Sanctions on Belarus

The Baltic American Chamber of Commerce (BACC) is delighted to contribute to the successful economic development of Lithuanian businesses.

On May 27th, 2021 Lawrence A. Ward, Partner at Dorsey & Whitney, a global law firm and a member of the Baltic American Chamber of Commerce, delivered a presentation on the application of US sanctions and their possible extraterritorial effect to Lithuanian companies and officials. The topic was very timely after the current incident when a Ryanair flight from Athens to Lithuanian capital Vilnius was diverted to Minsk on Sunday, May 23rd, 2021.

Mr. Ward presented the legal framework for Belarus sanctions and OFAC (the Office of Foreign Assets Control) regulations, and answered to exceptionally active audience’s questions.

This event was organized by the Embassy of Lithuania to US in partnership with BACC.
