BAJ Accelerator’s May 2021 Program Opening
Today, May 16th, 2021, the Baltic American Chamber of Commerce (BACC) welcomed its 5th cohort of participants to its BAJ Accelerator, the program which was established by a collaboration of three organizations: BACC, Orion World Innovations, and Jacobs Technion-Cornell Institute at Cornell Tech.
Ten companies have joined the BAJ Accelerator’s May 2021 Program, from the US, Armenia, Canada and Lithuania. The companies are in the fields of health care, “software as a service,” artificial intelligence, environment and agriculture, energy, and the law. BACC, which supports Baltic companies’ growth in the US, is proud that this program includes three startup companies from Lithuania. They are: Diabetis which developed Feetsee® - a cutting-edge, Class I telemedicine remote-monitoring device for periodic evaluation of the temperature over the soles of patients’ feet for signs of inflammation; CHRG Network, a startup in green energy, which created a software platform for electric-vehicle charging that connects all charging stations into a single network; and the environmental and agriculture company Cogastro, which provides data-gathering and analysis software with quick access to knowledge, optimization, and control of insect farms’ daily operations and insects’ lifecycle.
During the upcoming week, the BAJ Accelerator startups will engage with advisors and mentors in order to prepare them to meet investors and to pitch to them. After an intense 6-day session-week, the BAJ Accelerator will continue to support its participants in order to expedite the growth of their emerging technologies, and in order to scale-up their businesses in the US.
