On May 22nd, 2020 the BAJ Accelerator May 2020 Program Came to a Successful Close
After five intensive days of trainings, workshops and discussions, our 17 founders pitched to a diverse group of 25+ Venture-Capital angels, and family office investors. In fact, our BAJ Accelerator founders pitched a total of three times this week, each time utilizing personalized feedback from prior mentoring sessions.
Despite the program moving to a virtual format, our founders were more than impressed. Keith Patchel, founder of Plinkout, noted that “it was like getting an MBA in a week.” Similarly, Jordan Girard, founder of WhiteRock, highlighted the global nature of our program, with insights coming in from Hong Kong to New York and Paris; from Yerevan to Riga; and from everywhere in between. The BAJ Accelerator was also excellent for connection-building, and Roman Zakyan, co-founder of GebeCert, said that the program was perfect for “enlarging [my] network.”
The BAJ Accelerator team set out with the goal of making our founders “investable,” and after our world-class speakers walked them through advanced concepts such as narrative-building, financial modeling, legal and intellectual property strategy, and capital-raising, they are well on their way toward investment infusions.
The BAJ Accelerator is made possible by the collaboration and partnership of three organizations: Baltic American Chamber of Commerce, Orion Worldwide Innovations LLC and Jacobs Technion-Cornell Institute at Cornell Tech. Jacobs Technion-Cornell Institute is established jointly by Cornell University and the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. Read more about BAJ Accelerator here.
