Digital Societies Learning From Each Other
On November 21, 2019 the representative of the Baltic American Chamber of Commerce (BACC) Ms. Inga Klimasauskiene was invited to attend the International Tech Round Table hosted by the Greater New York Chamber of Commerce. The event focused on digital societies and presented the CH1L3 (Chile a Digital Country), including Chile’s top tech companies and leading entrepreneurs from Kunder, Nisum, Arkanosoft, Magnet, Linets, Adevcom, Jumpitt Labs, and Zenta.
The Trade Commissioner of Chile in New York, Mr. Ignacio Recart and the Business Development Manager at Ch1l3 Ms. Lauren Brown presented Chile’s digital transformation. Companies from the U.S. and Chile shared their near-shoring business experiences. The audience was enthralled by Estonia’s example that started nearly two decades ago when they implemented their digital information society strategy and today are named as the first digital country in the world. Ms. Klimasauskiene expressed the BACC’s mission to assist governments and business to connect, support and strengthen relationships that lie at the core of countries and business success.
