SoHo Dragon, A Wall Street-Based Company Met His Partners in Lithuania For The First Time

by Jim Blottman, COO & Partner at Soho Dragon

The recent visit of a company’s CEO and COO to its thriving Lithuanian partner has strengthened ties and relationships. Read how Jim Blottman, COO & Partner of the U.S.-based firm, SoHo Dragon traveled to Vilnius to meet his colleagues at SoHo Lithuania for the first time.

Recently, I travelled from the United States to Lithuania to finally meet with our partners in Lithuania, who are led by Vytenis Jasikevicius and Audrius Cvilikas. Along with meeting the Soho Dragon Lithuania ownership team, I had the pleasure of meeting our wonderful team of consultants too. A fantastic experience, to say the least.

Over the last two years, Soho Dragon has grown from our two principal officers to over twenty IT consultants servicing Soho Dragon’s U.S.-based financial services clients. All of this happened during the pandemic, and our management team had never met in person over a two-year period until January of this year. Finally, we made that face-to-face meeting happen, and what a great experience it was!

Lithuania is a beautiful land with strong, intelligent, proud, and kindhearted people. The country is rich in history from both past and modern times. What I witnessed is a land of people who have the fire of freedom let loose from the evil of tyranny and oppression. I am very proud of the fact that my company, Soho Dragon, a U.S.-based company, is now part of that spirit with our partners, Soho Dragon Lithuania. The spirit of freedom enables innovation, realism, hard work, commitment, teamwork, integrity, and leadership. Essentially, these are the core principles of Soho Dragon. In these challenging times, this is what companies around the world look for in a partner and that is what Soho Dragon delivers worldwide from our locations in the United States, Lithuania, and India.

None of this would have happened without the involvement and matchmaking of the Baltic American Chamber of Commerce. I am indebted to the network of the BACC and the leadership of Inga Klimasauskiene. I can’t thank the BACC and Inga enough for enabling this success. Especially during these challenging times where growth, cooperation, and optimism are needed between the United States and our allies in Europe. There is nothing that can stop this type of spirit! History is a testimony to that fact. We are very excited about our future in Lithuania and the best is yet to come.
