WEBINAR – What Foreign Companies Need to Know About US Employment Law

Monday, October 2, 2017

9:30-10:30 a.m. EST | (4:30-5:30 p.m. EET)

Speaker – Eric A. Savage, Shareholder, Littler Mendelson, P.C.

The American legal system regarding employment can be tricky and confusing, even for American companies, but it is even harder to navigate for foreign companies setting up operations in the U.S.  The differences between American and European legal concepts, the conflicts between the laws of the different states, and even differences within state borders, make it important for companies to understand how employment laws work in the U.S.  This presentation will focus on the basics of American employment law and will focus on how companies can avoid unnecessary legal risks which can be difficult and expensive to fix and can expose them to unwanted and costly litigation.
