NY NOW participants from the Baltic States were assisted by the Baltic American Chamber of Commerce and its partners Hodgson Russ LLP in doing business in the US

On August 22nd, 2017 the Baltic American Chamber of Commerce (BACC), in cooperation with the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia in the US, welcomed the NY NOW participants from the Baltic States to New York.

Over ten companies, with the biggest delegation from Latvia, attended NY NOW, the leading tradeshow for the home, life style and gift market on August 19-23, 2017.

The trade show participants were warmly hosted by BACC partners Hodgson Russ at its new home at 605 Third Avenue, New York. The highlight of the reception was a presentation by Hodgson Russ, a full service law firm with representation in every major area of US law, on the legal and practical aspects of doing business in the US from intellectual property to regulatory issues, among others.

“The event and presentation given were exactly what business coming from the Baltics to the US need”, said Toms Zvidrins, Head of the Representative Office in the USA, Investment and Development Agency of Latvia.

BACC is a New York-based organization dedicated to the promotion, advancement and guidance of business relations between the United States and the Baltic States.
