The Future of Cohesion in Europe
On November 14, 2018 in Paris, France took place the European Long-Term Conference, “The Future of Cohesion in Europe”. Inga Klimasauskiene, the representative of the Baltic American Chamber of Commerce (BACC) joined roundtable discussions, which were opened by the President of Confrontations Europe, Marcel Grignard and Vice-President in charge of European Affairs of the Ile-de-France Region, Stephanie von Euw. The panelists discoursed an ambition for a rethought cohesion, long-term European investment strategy to ensure the cohesion, and financial recourses to match ambitions.
The exchange of views on reinventing business and capitalism as a major challenge for social and economic cohesion supports to scale the competitiveness of Europe, including the Baltic States, the region which BACC represents in building transatlantic business.
