DESCRIPTION:
COVID-19 created uncertainty for businesses of all sizes and across industries. Companies in both the US and the Baltic States are facing situations where performance under an agreement is now more difficult or may be impossible. This webinar will provide an introduction to force majeure and liability risks in the U.S. and in the Baltic States. The speakers will discuss if parties can limit or eliminate liability based on a force majeure clause in commercial contracts between the U.S. and the Baltic States during the COVID-10 outbreak. Personal data processing during the COVID-19 outbreak, such as with employment contracts, also will be discussed.
