The U.S. Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) will take effect on January 1, 2024. It will require companies formed under the laws of a U.S. state and foreign companies registered to do business in a U.S. state to file with U.S regulators information about their owners and managers, including those outside the U.S. This program will give you an overview of the CTA, what companies it covers, how its beneficial owners are defined and what must be reported about them. We will also touch on who will have access to the reported information and how the CTA will likely arise in your regular business dealings.
