Latvian FinTech entrepreneurs (payment, lending, P2P, crypto) continue to play an important role in European and global financial sectors. Many of them do their business based on the UK, Lithuanian, Estonian and other non-Latvian licensing regulations with operation and back offices based in Riga. However, currently the Latvian business environment and licensing opportunities are welcomed to be locally incorporated.
