43North’s 2022 Application is officially open! And this year, we have some BIG news to share… 

New for 2022, 43North will be making five $1 million investments, each in exchange for 5% equity. That’s right, all five startups selected to our Y8 cohort will receive a $1 million investment!

Simply put, venture capital and the startup space have changed a lot since we first launched back in 2014. Here we are eight years later and as we continue on our mission to bring top companies to Buffalo, we felt the time was right to make a change... 

It’s certainly an exciting change, but we continue to pride ourselves on the fact that 43North is more than money - so much more! We’re thrilled to kickoff our hunt for the next companies that will build with the backing of 43North, gaining access to mentorship, connections to investors, inroads to customers, and an entire city rallying around them.
